Through years of hunting and tracking experience, we saw firsthand that no two recoveries are alike. Every situation presents unique challenges, and relying on a single recovery method does not always provide the best chance of success.
By integrating thermal drone technology into the recovery process, we can search larger areas faster, identify heat signatures that would otherwise go unnoticed, and provide hunters with valuable information during some of the most challenging recoveries.

Our Story
Wicked Wing Drone Services was founded by hunters who believed there was a better way to recover wounded game. Years spent tracking deer, working with landowners, and assisting hunters revealed a common problem - recoveries were often limited by difficult terrain, poor blood trails, weather conditions, or the amount of time available before darkness.
Drawing on years of field experience and a strong background in blood-trailing through our affiliation with Wicked Wing Retrievers, we recognized that thermal drone technology could dramatically improve recovery efforts. Rather than relying on a single method, we built a company that combines practical hunting knowledge with advanced aerial technology to give hunters every reasonable opportunity to recover their game.
What started as a solution for ethical deer recovery has grown into Wicked Wing Drone Services - a nationwide network of FAA-certified drone pilots providing professional thermal and aerial services across the country.
Today, our services include Thermal Deer Recovery, Deer Herd Surveys, High-Resolution Aerial Mapping, and Lost Pet & Livestock Recovery.
